propoolbound asked: Just curious on what people think of Cuetec cues. seen alot of negative remarks, about them, seen some good remarks about them.Either way explain?
Thanks for all the input so far, keep thoughts coming in! and why.
Monica, you said that you bought 2 of them, whats your take on them?
i have alot of friends who have them, and never seen an issue with having to clean them, or becoming tacky, and my hands are damp almost all the time. when they came out with the super slick shafts, i used a couple of my friends cues, and thought they were actually too slick for my perference, because i have an extreamlly light touch, and at 1st it was wierd 4 me to meter the super slick shaft running through my bridge hand, but since using a few others here and there, i now got used to the shaft being so slick. all of my friends clean their wood shafts all the time, and 4 some reason i never liked 2 clean mine, just a lil quirk of mine lol. after i did that 4 many years, i read that efren doesnt like to clean his shaft either. i thought that was kinda cool at the time, because i was studying him and earl nonstop. but on Cuetec i never ran 1 through my hands, that wasn’t super slick. maybe someone who experienced that left their cue in a very hot car 4 a very long time?

Taylor asked: Any advantages and disadvantages about “cuetec” cue?
If I want to buy a cue stick, which brand would you like to recommend? Price must be lower than $70.

rockyd70094 asked: Ok I have put my own tips on before with gorilla glue and a double siringe thingy with 2 apoxys in it(which worked awesome) and both did the job. I’m wondering tho the new tip I ordered is a 14 mm(only size I could find) and my stick is a 13mm. What do I need to buy to get rid of the edges? Can I buy like a cuetec shaper/bowtie/tip pik and use the shaper part to do this? Or do I need to buy something to cut the access off? So the question is how to I reduce the tip from 14 to 13 mm? One more question. I ordered a hard tip and a soft. Want to try them both. Where can I find a extra shaft for my players cue? I need a backup plus I can add the other tip to it and try both that way. Thanks as always
