Really it depends on what you like and what feels comfortable when you play. Cuetec,McDermott, Meucci, and Viking are all pretty good sticks. I have 20oz Players that I feel comfortable playing with. I would suggest just buying a stick that feels good when you are playing.

The best thing to do is go out and hit some cues that you like that are in your price range. What works for me, might not necessarily work for you.

Viking and McDermott are good production cues with life time warranties.

Lucasi hustler cue is pretty sharp.

Cue tec cues are very durable, but I hate their shafts.

If you have a little more of a budget, I’d also suggest
Jacoby, Pechaur, and Jackson cues. You pay more, but the quality is very high and they will last you a lifetime.
