Well I haven't used it to give you a good reveiw. But however I have been on a mission to get myself a new stick also and I have been asking a lot of stick questions on different sites. The best place for answers would be azbilliards.com. U have to register for free and it can take up to a week for them to accept. But do it now and in the future u can get a lot of answers from pool lovers. Well cuetecs are not that expensive I noticed. Often u get what u pay for. I heard the only 2 sticks that fall in the price range that cuetec does that's best for the money is mcdermott and viking. I never hear anyone saying anything great about the cuetec cues. I noticed also cuetec shafts fun between 35-60 bucks. Shafts make a big difference in a players game and at such a low price I wouldn't belive cuetec is anything but low end. Rememeber you get what you pay for. I used a players cue for 5 yrs. I really liked it but its worth the 100 bucks I paid for it. So anyone can get used to any stick. But if you're looking for better feedback from a stick or less squirt, deflection etc you have to spend more money. Good Luck

Not really familiar enough to answer your question on this cue…been using the Predator for the past 12 years…helped me I think in my game…but as we both know, you haven't seen me on TV to attest to the greatness of this make….I think the little I remember reading about the "Bolt" it is similar in theory to the Predator….but really, it will still come down to what you personally think and feel about the stick…it will cost you $175 to find out…if this amount is no big thing then go and check it out…not any places that I know off that will let you "test drive it"….it is a good brand and name that you should not have any trouble getting your money back or most of it if you don't like it…good luck with it and hope to see you on the tour!

I think most pool players would try to steer you towards a McDermott or Viking for the same money. Cuetec's not a bad beginner cue though, especially if you haven't played seriously before and don't really know how to feel the difference between cues. I started with a Cuetec myself. The fiberglass shafts though tend to be sticky, so I always used a glove with my Cuetec.
