If there is any other cues that you feel I should seem at please set them beneath. (make sure you never set any Mcdermott cues previously have 4!)

50 points aye? That’d be a good trick to learn…how can you do that?.
Just make sure the tip is in good shape and chalked correctly and then you won;t be able to blame the stick for your mistakes.

The way to pick out a cue is to try them out, but keep in mind that the cues you try out may not have the tip you prefer to play with. If you don’t live near a billiard supply store go to the local pool hall and ask players if you could hit some shots with their cues. I’m kind of partial to Joss, but I really like the Predator shaft. I also like the OB shaft. If you can afford it I suggest you get the Joss cue and order a Predator shaft for it. That way you have the best of both worlds. My favorite playing cue is a Schon. I’m also impressed with Pechauer. As far as recommendations, I would suggest anything over a McDermott. I have never been able to play with a McDermott, because I don’t like the joint and they aren’t solid enough. Good luck!
I love my Pechauers….
You should definitely considering looking at a Fury cue. Kelly Fisher just finished 2nd at the Philippine Open with her model HL-7 ( http://www.cuesight.com/fuhl07.html ). Other world champion players such as John Schmidt, Xiao Ting Pan, and Pei Chen Tsai also trust their careers to Fury cues. In the past, players such as Rodney Morris, Jose Parica, Max Eberle, and Lee Van Corteza have won tournaments with Fury cues. While not as well known in the US as some of the other brands you first mentioned, I do believe that, dollar for dollar, you will not find a better value in a cue. Some models have a Speed-Loc pin that offers a stiffer hit, and some models feature a radial pin for a softer hit. All the cues use hand-selected North American maple shafts turned down over time in accordance with custom cue best practices, and all come with a lifetime warranty that includes warpage.
What you need to do is find out the following:
1. What kind of a joint fits you the best? Metal on metal? Metal on wood? Wood on wood? For me, I prefer the wood on wood because it is the most “natural” feel and it ensures me the shot that I want. Metal on metal works the worst for me b/c it just never moves the way I want it to. It “jars” me EVERY time! Having said that, I’ve seen level 7 players use the cheapest Viking cue and still make killer shots.
Warping – this is also of utmost crucial importance. THE worst thing that can happen to a cue is warping, and I find wood on wood the least of the offenders.
2. Tip – this is all important. Proper tip care means quite a bit.
3. Do you care about fancy decorations on your cue? I don’t. I can skip all the fancy hooplah as long as I get a trust-worthy cue that performs and lasts.
Having said all of that: mine is a Pechauer. AND they’re REALLY good about not warping…crucial, crucial, crucial if you’re serious about your game.
But what I want to know if you is: how are you gonna give me the 50 points?
