Ron asked:

I recieved a mcdermott cue in great condition for free from a friend who bought a new cue.. The only problem with it is the joint pin is not perfectly center with the butt.. I can tell that it is not correct because when I roll the butt on the table, it is straight, but the pin wobbles.. is it possible to have a joint pin realigned or replaced by a cue repair shop? What is the approx cost of this repair??

  • Yes this is possible and it happens all the time. Her in Southern Colorado where I live there are at least 4 guys who could do this. depending on who does it and who you are it could range from $20 to $80

Mcdermott cues have wood threads, I hope they are not stripped out. This could cause problems and additional expenses.
