Its just one of their cheap generic lines. I'd guess that the inlays are not real, and its low quality over all.
Yeah when you see a McDermott Star then you know it is one of the cheaper cues that they make. It is probably not a bad cue, but don't think it is a high end McDermott.
It's one of the lower end McDermotts, like everyone else has said. But it does carry a lifetime warranty and McDermott's maintenance program, which is great. It's a decent cue to start out with and if you decide you're really serious you can upgrade later.
