My bf has a McDermott Harley Davidson cue. It is older, and he was told at one point that Mcdermott was told by Harley to stop making this cur. I know that they still make harley cues, but was wondering how I can find out if this story is true, and if so, if the cue is worth anything.

Check out the "Blue Book of Pool Cues"

That cue may not even be included, so try to email the seller asking if it is in the book before you purchase it.

Unfortunately, there is no free resource to check the value of your cues.

I tried searching online but only could find newer McDermott Harley Davidson cues – see link:

Hard to determine a value – depending on the age this was probably mass produced, but the older the cue, the less that are out there. SO, if in very good condition – I would say close to $150 to 250 (maybe more if 15-20 years old). If you plan to sell it really hit the Harley aspect of the cue – target those people – Keep a watch on ebay and Craigslist.
